What does the fee include or not include (e.g. does it include tables and chairs, glassware, tableware, etc or just the venue itself)?
Our package includes the Chapel, the Pavilion & Bar. Our venue is air-conditioned! We have tables and chairs for up to 120 people, plenty of toilets, a signing table with matching chairs, 2 flower pedestals, pews, lectern, bar furniture, several vehicles with a driver are available at your disposal to whisk you away to several locations within our 200 acres for some incredible photo opportunities. We also have a generator if required. At Chapel Ridge our package includes a significant advantage to assist you with every aspect of planning your wedding. We not only provide a wedding planner, but also an on-the-day co-ordinator so your stress level leading up to your wedding day and on your wedding day are diminished. There are also plenty of other Chapel Ridge staff on hand to provide assistance with the air-conditioning, fireplaces, sound system along with any technical issues that may arise throughout the day.
Do you have in-house catering or preferred caterers.
We do not include catering in our package. We have several preferred vendors of which can provide a broad range of cuisine at various price points.
What do you suggest in the event of bad weather?
We are well equipped for any type of weather, so this takes the worry away from you. It’s just a matter of choice at Chapel Ridge. Our staff can open or close doors if an unpleasant wind was to arise or if the weather was unbearably hot or cold, come inside to fully air-conditioned comfort.
Is Chapel Ridge a licensed venue?
Yes, we are a licensed venue and provide all inclusive, delicious beverage packages to choose from.
How many cars can park at the venue?
Approximately 60
Will there be someone here on the day? What happens if something goes wrong?
There will always be Chapel Ridge staff on hand to ensure your day runs smoothly, provide guidance around the venue, keep the fireplaces going, make sure the air-conditioning is comfortable and to help park the cars etc.
Can we move things around? And what needs to stay in place?
Yes, things can be moved around within reason & will be arranged by Chapel Ridge Staff provided there is adequate notice. We ask all fixtures to remain in their place.
Can we have candles (some venues don’t allow open flame)?
We allow candles provided they are in an enclosed container so they cannot drip over tables or the floors etc.
What’s the curfew?
10.30pm
Can we throw confetti?
Sorry no, we find this environmentally unfriendly however we are happy for you to throw leaves and/or rose petals outside the Chapel.
How much accommodation is nearby?
We have onsite accomodation perfect for brides & families to get ready on their special day. There are also plenty of local B&B’s plus we have the added advantage of being next door to a boutique hotel that accommodates up to 38 guests.
Is there a fire pit? Do we need to BYO wood?
We have three fire pits and two internal fireplaces. We supply the wood and the staff to service them for the entire function.
Is the venue handicap accessible (if you have any guests with mobility needs)
There is one small rise to get you into the chapel but other than that the whole complex is on one uninterrupted level. Our staff will assist anyone that needs help on the day.
